The Submersibles is here to help you take that first giant stride into the undersea realm to discover the wonders lying beneath the waves! The PADI Open Water course is the world's preeminent diver certification course. During the course you'll learn techniques that will enable you to be able to dive with a buddy on your own, independent of a professional. You'll learn buoyancy control techniques, basic (and rarely needed) emergency procedures and general diving skills that will enable you to become a qualified, skilled and competent diver.

  • Minimum age: 10
  • In good physical condition.
  • Adequate swimming skills.

Course components:
  • E-learning at your own pace: Dive theory knowledge, quizzes and final exam.
  • Dive theory review with the instructor before commencement of pool session (1 hour).
  • Five confined water (pool) sessions spread over 2 days (12 hours).
  • Waterskills assessments - 200m swim/300m snorkel and a ten minute swim/float
  • Skin diving skills
